Experienced, Strategic and Aesthetic Event Design

The best event innovators bring equal parts experience, imagination and attention to detail to the planning and activation processes. I've been the executive stakeholder of the strategy, P&L and execution for multi-million dollar conferences. The creator and collaborator of interactive, partnered brand activations. And, the architect of intimate but demanding executive and celebrity gatherings. Through complete ownership and oversight of each critical element of an impactful and successful experience, my goal is to bring your event, community and brand to life.

Key Success factor: VENUE EVALUATION & SELECTION

The venue is the canvas on which we paint our event experience - every detail matters, from location and capacity to lighting and tone. It's likely the first big decision, and it sets the tone for the entire experience we create for our attendees.

Over 15 years and 35+ events I've developed a rigorous process for venue evaluation and selection, which includes an scoring and assessment of key criteria:

Logistical (hard) Considerations: Location, set up and flow, registration, catering/meals, AV, attendee and cargo load-in accessibility, technology infrastructure, security, hotel/transit proximity and parking.

Branding (soft) Considerations: Approach and entryway appeal, overall ambiance, lighting, infrastructure condition, furniture soft goods condition, session spaces, open/exhibit/meal spaces and branding opportunities.

I've worked hands-on with many different venues and event vendors: Massive metropolitan convention centers and hot Las Vegas nightclubs, corporate resort hotels and chic, non-traditional venues like art galleries and boutiques. Some specific venues and groups I've partnered with to create and deliver world-class events include:
